Amazon only allows customers to leave text-based reviews on products and shoppers make decisions to purchase. How?

Shoppers can make make decisions to purchase on Amazon's review system. By reviews , both customers and seller are gained . I am now explaining one by one.

1. Reviews are the essential part of Amazon's business model. This help to build customers's trust.

2. If reviews are positive that can lead to more sales then customers are more likely to purchase products that have positive reviews.

3. Negative reviews can also provide valuable feedback to the seller by which seller can improve their products and customer service.

4. By sending follow - up emails after purchase, customers encourage to leave reviews.

5. Reviews can help customers to compare products. They can see the weakness and strengths of each product.

6. Reviews are essential for the products which are not yet gained popularity. This help to establish credibility.

7. Customers can leave reviews anonymously that encourages honest feedback.

8. Seller or manufacturer can improve the product or service by way of reviews given by the customers.

9. Amazon's review system allows customers to ask questions about the product that can be answered by other customers or seller.

10. Amazon verifies the reviews that they are legitimate. It helps to prevent fake reviews

11. Customers can rate on reviews that helps other customers to find most important & helpful reviews.

12. Reviews can help sellers to identify the trends and patterns in the customers feedback.

13. Reviews can help the customers feel more connected to the product and brand when they can see the experiences of  other customers.

14. Reviews can also be used as a way to reward loyal customers as they can leave reviews and earn rewards or discounts.
